About Us
Established in 1993, Rehabilitation Hospital is a free-standing, licensed acute care hospital, specializing in physical rehabilitation medicine. We offer a range of rehabilitation services to those requiring intensive therapy. Our mission is to provide individualized care for patients and families while rebuilding lives in a compassionate environment.
The 36-bed Rehabilitation Hospital is the region's only free-standing facility dedicated solely to rehabilitation. Accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the hospital has helped thousands of patients regain independence despite serious illness or injury.
Services include integrated inpatient rehabilitation; neuropsychological services; occupational, physical and speech therapy; and stroke rehabilitation, to name a few. A barrier-free interior and exterior, spacious therapy gym, warm water therapeutic pool, outdoor mobility courtyard, and a transitional living apartment are several of the therapeutic amenities offered.
We have everything you'd expect in a hospital, in addition to essential components found only at facilities specializing in acute inpatient rehabilitation, such as:
- Barrier-free interior and exterior
- Spacious therapy gym
- Warm water therapeutic pool
- Outdoor mobility courtyard
- Activities of daily living areas
- Transitional living apartment
Rehabilitation Hospital, a Lutheran Health Network member, cares for patients 14 and older who have a variety of diagnoses and conditions. Each member of the treatment team has spent years studying and working to help each patient become as independent as possible.
