Medical Directors

Rehabilitation Hospital is currently served by co-medical directors -- Dr. William Hedrick and Dr. Paul E. Later.

• William Hedrick, MD, Spine Pain Institute Northeast, is a board-certified physiatrist, a specialist in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation who focuses on restoring function. A graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Hedrick completed his residency at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Hedrick cares for patients with a wide variety of rehabilitation diagnoses and needs.

 

• Paul E. Later, M.D.  received his M.D. from Rush Medical College, Chicago and completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Later received a fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and specializes in neurology and neuromuscular disorders.
